My name is Marcia aka Ransom. I grew up in the mid-east and Pakistan and completed my High School there. I am now a Canadian living in the nation’s capital, Ottawa, Ontario. I am married since 1978 and have two adult children. I became a Christian in January 1982 and my faith in Jesus Christ has become a part of my DNA, if you get the gist. Hence a lot of my musings about life will center around my Christian mindset. I really haven’t figured it all out yet, but then none of us has. I intend to use this blog, not so much as a diary, but to “think out loud” so to speak. My header picture was taken in Central Park NYC against the backdrop of the buildings of Manhattan. The picture had to be cropped for the header hence we do not see the full effect. I love the tranquility of the park set against the hubbub of the city. A good place to sit and chat and have coffee with a friend before returning back to the busy life that keeps us from more frequent coffee breaks.
